New Dual Zone Hot Sprue Bushing from Melt Design

 

 

The Equatemp® Dual Zone Sprue Bushing from Melt Design Inc. (MDI) is a recently added addition to the company’s patented Equatemp® line of internally heated sprue bushings. The dual zone provides a nearly 100 percent even heat profile through the entire flow passage. In addition, each of the heaters can be independently adjusted for even more control.

The Dual Zone Hot Sprue Bushing is designed for higher-precision applications and is especially ideal for high-temp engineering resins, such as those used for automotive and certain medical products. It can be directly retrofitted to cold sprue bushings and the thermocouple is replaceable if needed. Four tip options are available.
